General Tips

Hot & Cold Baths

  • When using any of the hot baths, it is ideal to keep your sessions between 15 to 30 minutes.
  • After using the hot baths or sauna rooms, we recommend switching to the cold tub to increase blood circulation and improve overall health.
  • Recommended time for the cold bath, especially for first-time users, is ~10 minutes.
  • If you are planning to use the bathtubs after a massage/body scrub service, please shower with soap and rinse thoroughly before entering the water.

Sauna Rooms and Facilities

  • Please note that exposure to the high or low temperatures of our saunas/rooms may be dangerous or even fatal to some with certain conditions; read our disclaimer.
  • Consult with your doctor or healthcare professional before using any of our facilities, especially if you have any conditions you may be concerned about.
  • For Women's Hip Baths: due to the prolonged exposure to heat and steam, our Hip Bath service may not be appropriate or safe for everyone, including those who may have sensitive skin or other underlying health conditions. While the Hip Baths use gentle to moderate heat and steam, if you are unsure about how you may be affected by this type of treatment, please consult with your healthcare provider before using our Hip Bath.
  • Stay hydrated.
  • Listen to your body. If you feel overheated (or too cold), get to a room temperature area and let your body recover. Notify a member of staff immediately if you believe you are having an emergency.
  • First-time hot sauna room users are recommended to spend 5-10 minutes. As you get used to the heat, you can slowly increase the time to 15-20 minutes.
  • You should not exceed 20 minutes in the sauna rooms to avoid dehydration or overheating, especially after meals.
  • Allow your body to adjust to the heat by using light sauna rooms first, then slowly try out higher temperatures saunas.
  • After using the sauna rooms, allow your body to cool down for at least 20 minutes by sitting at room temperature in the Jjim-Jil-Bang or using the Ice Room.
  • Suggested time for our Ice Room is about 10-15 minutes. We recommend working your way up to 15 minutes to prevent overexerting your body.
