 Gangnam Spa proudly offers a luxury wellness experience rooted in traditional Korean culture. As an authentic Korean spa, known as a jjimjilbang, our approach to relaxation follows time-honored traditions that may feel different from a typical spa.

With over 30,000 square feet of specialty baths, unique sauna rooms, and relaxation lounges, our facilities blend traditional Korean wellness practices with modern comfort. Guests move freely between therapeutic heat rooms, baths, and resting areas, embracing a centuries-old culture of relaxation, detoxification, and renewal.



We value all of our guests and strive to provide a rewarding experience to all, with various membership options that offer value to first-time and frequent visitors alike. We encourage all guests to review and understand our general policy & spa etiquette.

What To Know Before You Visit

  • ID and contact number is required for admission. 
  • No shoes or personal socks are allowed inside the spa. 
  • Only approved grip socks provided by us may be worn.
  • Spa uniform must be worn at all times in the co-ed area and during massage services.
  • Bathing suits or swimsuits are not permitted in the bath pools. The bathing area is traditional and requires guests to be fully unclothed.
  • Backpacks and tote bags are not allowed unless they are clear/see-through.
  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
  • Content creation, photography, or filming is not allowed out of respect for other guests’ privacy and relaxation.
  • Meta glasses are not allowed anywhere in the spa.

  • Admission grants all-day access to our facilities
  • No reservations required for admission - just walk in & enjoy! 
  • Services such as massages are extra charges & by appointment only (admission required to receive service)
  • Must be 18+ years old to enter
  • Admission of $58 applies on holidays.

*While we do not require or offer online reservations, a waitlist may be implemented on busy days to help manage capacity and maintain a comfortable environment for all guests. Entry will be first come, first served, and waitlist admission will follow a one guest out, one guest in system. As there is no time limit on visits, wait times may vary.*

  • September promotions are valid Monday–Thursday only, unless otherwise stated.
  • Late Night 50% Off: Check in after 8:00 PM to receive 50% off regular admission. No early check-in.
  • $260 Spa Bundle: Includes Admission + Basic Scrub + 90-Minute Massage for one guest only. Cannot be split, shared, or transferred.
  • Spa Bundle Booking: Appointments may be booked in advance; however, check-in and all included services must take place Monday–Thursday during the promotional period.
  • Spa Bundle Payment: Must be paid in person at the spa. Online payment or online promotional tickets cannot be applied toward the bundle.
  • Loyalty Bring-a-Friend: Loyalty Member must bring a first-time, non-member guest. Both receive 25% off regular admission and must check in together Monday–Thursday.
  • Labor Day Gift Card Sale: Buy a $250 physical gift card = 1 Free Admission Ticket. Buy a $400 physical gift card = 2 Free Admission Tickets.
  • Gift Card Sale applies to physical gift cards purchased in-store only during the specified Labor Day sale period.
  • Complimentary admission tickets have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.

Authentic Traditional Bul-Ga-Ma — Naturally Heated the Traditional Way

Gangnam Spa is proud to be the first and only Korean spa & sauna in the country to offer Bul-Ga-Ma rooms with  such advanced heating technology and treatments. While others may take shortcuts with charcoal or cheaper sources to warm their Bul-Ga-Ma, we use the more labor-intensive and traditional method of wood fire, all powered by state-of-the-art equipment to deliver a more pure and authentic experience of the highest quality.
