 Modeled after traditional ultra-heated Korean hot rooms, our enhanced Bul-Ga-Ma rooms are the only ones of their kind in the country. Powered by state-of-the-art equipment, our Bul-Ga-Ma rooms are still heated by intense natural wood fire, but without the unwanted byproducts, such as excess CO2 and ash, for a pure and thorough detox experience.* Combined with our special yellow archer fomentation stones and a new capability of infusing the heated air with medicinal herbs such as Korean mugwort, our Bul-Ga-Ma rooms create a unique atmosphere of serenity and healing as natural released elements promote rapid detoxification.* 

While others may take shortcuts to heat their Bul-Ga-Ma, Gangnam Spa proudly maintains this more intensive form of creating heat from wood fire to deliver an authentic experience of the highest quality.

The Jjim-Jil-Bang is a staple of the Korean spa and sauna culture. It’s a common area space where guests can relax before, in between, and after sweating it out in the Bul-Ga-Ma or sauna. Everyone going to the Jjim-Jil-bang leaves the outside world behind, and enters this shared space with the common goal of rest and relaxation.

They provide just the right amount of privacy and seclusion – you may easily find yourself dozing off into a relaxation-filled nap! And with over 20 individual Topaz Caves available, you’ll be able to enjoy the cozy privacy of a Topaz Cave during your visit.

Our high-tech Nano Clay Room synergizes the natural benefits of yellow clay and cutting-edge radiator heating technology to help with blood circulation, promote metabolism, and combat fatigue, all while delivering a deeply detoxifying sauna experience.*

A patented technology using nano carbon yarn twisted into 3,000 strands, this exclusive nano carbon far-infrared radiator in our Nano Clay Room is over twice as effective and efficient than regular carbon or wire. This advanced radiator gently saturates the body with the revitalizing and radiant heat energy of far-infrared rays.*

A luxurious hot foot bath with water jets that gently massage the feet and helps promote circulation and provide comfort to an area that is prone to heavy daily use and fatigue.*

Oxygen: essential for human life, and the star of our O2 Lounge, where you can discover the refreshing benefits of oxygen therapy as part of our unique luxury Korean spa and sauna experience.

The O2 Lounge contains an air oxygen concentration of up to 80%, powered by a high purity oxygen generator. Each oxygen-rich inhale saturates red blood cells and promotes better circulation, creating a calming yet invigorating sense of well-being.* Just 30 minutes of oxygen therapy in our O2 Lounge may provide benefits such as stress reduction, headache relief, and boosted energy levels.*

Himalayan salt contains traces of minerals that are said to be effective in maintaining healthy blood pressure and promoting healthy respiratory conditions; these minerals, such as Calcium, Iron, and Zinc, are said to also help aid digestion and alleviate muscle tension and skin ailments.* The Himalayan Salt Room combines the heat and humidity of a sauna with natural salt base rocks that are nearly 350 million years old. The hot environment allows for the minerals of the salt to be better delivered to the skin and body.*

The invigorating cold temperature of the Igloo Ice Room will create a sense of alertness, as well as help to close pores, smooth skin, and enhance skin elasticity.* The cold temperature may also be therapeutic and help relieve pain by working to release muscle knots.* 

Moving between hot saunas and the cold Ice Room may further help to increase skin elasticity, improve blood circulation, boost the body’s immune system, and create a refreshing sense of simultaneous alertness and relaxation.*

 Hand Spa uses gently heated illite clay balls to relax the hands and promote overall wellness. This traditional Korean treatment helps soothe joints, ease stiffness, and support healthy circulation as natural warmth penetrates deeply to relieve tension and restore comfort. *

 Our movie theater offers a peaceful cinematic experience with comfortable seating and personal headphones for immersive sound. Four movies are shown daily, allowing guests to relax and enjoy entertainment while maintaining the quiet and tranquil atmosphere of the spa. 

 Our mini library offers a quiet and comfortable space to relax, read, and unwind during your visit. Featuring a curated selection of books and reading materials, the collection is refreshed and updated every three months to provide new titles and fresh reading experiences for our guests. 

Our spacious restaurant and dining area offers a wide selection of food, snacks, and beverages for you to enjoy, so you can feel comfortable and satisfied throughout your visit, whether it be for a few hours or the whole day!
